So much has happened, so little has changed

Time for another update! My last one was more than 2 months ago. Time flies!
Things are still going great in Bunbury! I'm nearly at the end of the semester and I feel like I need a holiday!
Thankfully it is only 20 days, 9 hours, 44 minutes and 17 seconds until I'll be flying to Holland...but who is counting!

In the past few weeks I had to hand in some pretty big assignments and I've only got 1 more to go!
In two weeks time I will have a few exams and after that....HOLLAND!
At the beginning of the semester I had set a goal for myself to get a 70% average for my units. At the moment I have:
Aboriginal Histories: 70%
Human behaviour: 78%
Addiction: 74%
Gender and Family: 68%
It is very rewarding and motivating that my hard work is giving me the results I'm wanting
I have really enjoyed my semester and find all the different units very interesting, but life has been crazy busy! Although I only have classes for 2 days, my weeks are filled before I know it. Of course I'm supposed to study on the days that I don't go to class.

A few weeks ago I started working at Dominos. My job is to deliver pizzas. It is the easiest and relaxing job ever! It goes great with studying because I normally only start after 5 pm and around that time my brain switches off anyway. I work about 10 hours a week.

I have become a member of Busselton church and whenever I don't need to work, I drive down to Busselton on wednesday, go to club and stay the night at Arie and Rianne's. Their home has become my second home and I wouldn't know what to do without them! Whenever I don't spend the weekend in Armadale or Albany I can stay at their place, so I don't have to spend the whole weekend sitting on my room.
Although I love being around other people, I also love living on campus and having my own space. I get along great with my 5 housemates. I'll often see a few of them while I'm in the kitchen, but I don't have to feel forced to socialize with them.
It is also great living 2 minutes away from the classroom! I get to wake up at 8.15 and still have heaps of time before class starts at 9! So all in all my life is pretty relaxed and comfortable at the moment!

I realized that other day that since I got an iphone I hardly ever use my camera anymore. Yesterday Rianne, Wouter (6), Kim (4) and I went for a bush walk and I took my camera along, so I could get some practice before I take it with me to Holland. It was a beautiful autumn day and it was just great to be out and about!
I was only going to post 1 or 2 photo's....but I just couldn't choose.....
I never realized how beautiful trees actually are!

Kim gives the BEST cuddles!

Lots of kangaroos

The only 'paddestoelen' we saw grew on trees

Kim picking 'flowers'

Spot the kangaroo!
It's in between Wouter and Kim
