Specially for Kristen (taken at the youth camp in Januari)
Path from my house to uni
I can't get over how much has happened in the last week! I feel like i've been living in Bunbury for ages, but it's only been 14 days!
The rest of last week was filled with sleeping in and doing readings for uni. On saturday, however, the weekend finally really started!
My parents drove up from Albany on saturday morning and dropped Annemijn and Anne Martha off at my house at 10.30. We then made out way to Arie and Rianne's place in Busselton, where we met up with Julian and Jared. We spend the afternoon chilling on the beach in Busso.
At night we had some people coming over for a prayer evening for the persecuted churches. I think we ended up with a group of about 17 people which was great!
We started with a bbq, followed with some singing before we started with our prayers.
Everyone had picked a country from the world watch list from open doors. Everyone took turns telling others about the country they had chosen. After the person had informed the other people he/she prayed for that specific country. We ended up talking about Afghanistan, North Korea, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia, Indonesia, Balarus and Egypt.
It was a very informative night. It also felt amazing to be able to come together and pray like this.
I would like to tell you more, but i'm expected at Arie and Rianne's place for dinner tonight....so I gotta run! Wouldn't wanna be late! ;)
Had a great weekend at Arie & Rianne with Anne Martha, Annemijn, Julian & Jared
